Villa Georgie
is a beautiful detached holiday rental in Andalusia with lots of privacy, fantastic sea views and private pool, just barely 400 meters from the beach of the beautiful little bay "Playa de Cotobro" in Almuñécar on the Costa Tropical in Andalusia, the eastern part of the Costa del Sol.
Here you can swim, enjoy the easy walking distance to charming beach bars and sit with a paella and a glass of red wine with your feet in the warm sand. The lively town center and the picturesque old town are within walking distance.
Fantastic Views
From the villa you can enjoy a fantastic view of the nearby Mediterranean Sea and the famous landmark Almuñécars, the at night illuminated "Peñon del Santo", the sacred rock. Here you will find a remarkable park and a series of rocks of dramatic beauty that jut into the Mediterranean and offer a spectacular view of the old town, the Arab citadel, the Andalusian coast and the Mediterranean Sea.
Please note: The staircase to the house winds beautifully through the large garden. The many steps mean, however, that the villa is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users and handicapped guests. We also ask our guests not to smoke in the house, but only outdoors. Also, pets unfortunately not allowed.
Comfortable Facilities
Villa Georgie has recently been refurbished in bright & fresh Nordic style with large windows that give a lot of light. It is situated on a 1000 m² large private plot, so that you can feel completely undisturbed here. There are 7 rooms on about 200 m² living area and 2 floors.
There are 3 modern bedrooms with comfortable double beds plus 1 apartment for another 2 to 3 guests, 2 bathrooms, one with tub, one with shower, a well equipped eat-in kitchen and a lounge with a comfortable sofa area, 42 "cable TV, DVD player and open fireplace for cozy holiday evenings.
The seperate apartment is fully equipped as a small apartment with attached bathroom, private TV with satellite reception and private kitchenette and has direct access to the pool and to the pool terrace.
New: There is now an air conditioning for cooling and heating in the three bedrooms and in the living room of the main house, so you can keep the rooms here pleasantly year-round..
Spacious Pool and Outdoor Area
The villa has about 300 m² terraces on 2 levels and a beautifully landscaped garden area of about 500 m², with palms, pines and tropical flowers, of course with corresponding garden and patio furniture, a ping-pong table and a BBQ for outdoor dining with view to the blue sea.
The entire property is available to you, as well as the private, underwater illuminated swimming pool of 10 x 4 meters, of course, for your sole, very private use. Even if you choose Villa Georgie for e.g. only 2 guests, you can enjoy complete privacy here.
Also from the swimming pool you have fantastic sea views. The pool available year-round and here, at the warmest spot of the European continent, you can often enjoy a bath in the pool during the "winter months". Almuñécar in Andalusia is famous for its 320 sunny days a year!
And if it gets cooler, additional electric heaters and the cozy fireplace are available.
Beach, Restaurants, Getting Here
To the next beach it is less than 400 meters, so a walk of perhaps 5 minutes. To the next supermarket or restaurant you need about 10 minutes.
Almuñécar offers restaurants for all tastes and budgets! The delicious tapas are served here free to a glass of wine and you can try almost every kitchen of the world.
There are countless places with Spanish specialties and delicious, freshly caught fish. There is also a large selection of Chinese, Italian, Greek, Arabic, German, British, Scandinavian and the well-known American restaurants and and and ...
And from Malaga Airport it is only about 1 hour drive to Villa Georgie, along the new coastal highway, or the picturesque old national road, along the sea. parking spaces for your car can be found right in front of the house!
